My name is Ashley and I am a freshman at Princeton University. After spending the summer of 2005 in South Africa, I was shocked to witness the immense negative impact that malaria has on Africa. When I returned from Africa, I started a non-profit called "Nets of Love" to raise awareness about malaria and collect money to purchase insecticide-treated bed nets. I am really excited to have raised about $6000 so far to directly purchase bed nets, and I sincerely hope to continue to raise support and awareness about the dire, yet preventable disease.
