My name is Gerald Mwangi Walterfang. I am the CEO of Kenya NGO Alliance Against Malaria-KeNAAM. This is a network of NGOs whose mandate is to help poor and vulnerable communities at the risk of malaria achieve good health especially the pregnant women and children under 5 yrs old.

I have been a victim of malaria thrice and in each case it was severe and nearly lost my own life. I was lucky to have parents who could afford to take me to Kenya's best hospital. Now, I have children of my own, I worry about their survival and the danger of malaria. I am in a position to help them. What about the over 1 million children at risk? from poor families . What of the pregnant women who cannot afford to go to hospital? And the children we lose every 30 seconds...they could have been the next CEOs...give the ones born today a chance...SPONSOR a child at risk! Fast for malaria!
